Saint George's Church is a key work of the architect Sir Aston Webb's early and best period and containing exceptional stained glass executed by the Kempe studios. It falls to the present generation to preserve the finest piece of late Victorian church architecture in the city of Worcester.

The advancement of the Christian religion by the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement, and beautification of the Parish Church of Saint George, Barbourne, Worcester, in the Diocese of Worcester and of the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass/windows, furniture, ornaments and chattels in the Church and of the Churchyard belonging to the Church.
